About

Inblix Dev Tools is a small collection of 13 text utilities for developers: converters that turn one format into another, regex helpers that extract values from a block of text, formatters that tidy up source, and encoders for the everyday URL and Base64 work.

How they work

Every tool on this site runs as JavaScript inside your own browser. When you paste text into a tool, that text is processed by the page you have open. It is not sent to a server, not written to a log, and not associated with your account, because none of those things exist.

The practical consequence is that you can safely paste internal log output, a customer record, or an API response containing a token. None of it leaves the machine.

What the tools do not do

The converters are deliberately pragmatic rather than complete. They are translation helpers that handle the common cases and hand back working code you then read and adjust — not compilers. Expect to clean up edge cases, especially for heavily dynamic Python, and always read the output before you rely on it.

Regex patterns are matched in your browser, and the pattern helper screens for obvious catastrophic-backtracking shapes before it runs. That screening is a guard rail, not a proof: an unusual pattern can still be slow on a large input, so keep test inputs reasonable.

How it is funded

The site is free and has no paid tier. It is supported by advertising, which is why you may see ad slots alongside the content. Ads are kept below the actual explanation on every page, and are never placed above it, because the tools are more useful when the writing comes first.

Corrections

If a converter produces wrong output, that is a bug worth reporting. Include the input, what you expected, and what you got, and thecontact pageexplains how to send it.
